The Halstead Area Team includes the Anglican Church parishes of:

St Andrew's Halstead
St Catherine's Gosfield
St James the Great Greenstead Green
St Andrew's Earls Colne
St Andrew's Colne Engaine
St Andrew's White Colne
Where is Halstead? We are in North Essex (UK) very close to the Suffolk border. The parishes are part of the Hinckford Deanery of Chelmsford Diocese.
'Come and See' - The Halstead Area Team Mission 21-28 September 08

Everyone is welcome to help plan the activities and work during our mission week 21-28 September 08 and beyond.
Planning is vital to ensure that activities we start in Mission week can become part of our regular programme in the parishes. Many of the activities will be outside of the church buildings which is all part of reaching out and taking God's word into the communities to meet people where they are comfortable to listen. Below is the provisional plan for your comments and suggestions.

The Halstead Area Team provides a rich selection of services and activities ranging from traditional Sunday worship in individual parishes to opportunities for new and enquiring Christians where a modern approach is adopted. Whilst on this site take a look at TECS, TOAST and Funky Food Cafe and you'll see what we mean!

Whilst much of the site will be information for existing church goers in our parishes, we aim over time to provide a variety of rich content to help visitors to develop their faith through reading and questioning.
