TOAST - Curently 'mothballed' (March 2010). Please talk to Halstead area team clergy if you'd like to know more about TOAST. Holy Trinity School Halstead was the first to host this new style worship back in March on Saturday 24th. A lively crowd enjoyed the gathering in the School Hall in a fresh and celebratory style. The 2nd bite of TOAST was enjoyed at St Andrew's School, Halstead in May when every chair was filled and processions of joyous dancing waving rhubarb stalks and balloons was enjoyed by all! TOAST has continued regularly and now aims for a monthly meeting each 3rd Saturday of the month [excluding August and December] in St Andrew's School, Mathews Close, HALSTEAD, Essex, CO9 2BH. |

If this all sounds rather obscure, you will just have to come to the next one to find out how it works! It's easy to remember, the 3rd Saturday of each month at St Andrew's School, Halstead starting at 10am. Visitors to TOAST are greeted by fresh coffee, tea, biscuits and usually jam doughnuts but always something yummy to nibble! Everyone has a name badge which makes it easy to chat and feel included. |

The band is made up of anyone who can play an instrument and would like to join in. All ages and stages welcome. Just contact Geoff Bayliss and he will supply some music for you and make sure you feel welcome. No worries about lots of long prayers at TOAST. This way is fun and creative and very meaningful too. We write our prayers and collect them together. We then pray for all the prayers together. |
