Earls Colne 'Loo' Appeal

St Andrew's Earls Colne

You are warmly welcome to come to St Andrew's, the Parish church of Earls Colne. Step inside the church doors and our welcomers will help you find a seat and introduce you to others over a cup of coffee after the service.

Children are very welcome too and noise is not a problem! We have a regular Sunday School 'Little Doves' that runs in the Tower Room at the back of the church where children can be left safely and babies can be attended to.
Come along to our informal Family Service on the 2nd Sunday of each month, where children are encouraged to be central to the worship and anything can happen!

Laying out coins in the Spring Coin Mile Challenge

*** Coin Mile Challenge***
Bring your coin jars and lay them out for the Autumn Coin Mile Challenge and lets see how much we can raise this time! The Spring Coin Mile Challenge raised over £400 for church and the loo fund. We've plenty of small keen helpers to lay out the coins, all we need is a regular supply so please keep 'em coming! All sizes and values welcome.

Please note our important Facilities Appeal (the polite term for our 'Loo' appeal!) for funds to be used for the benefit of all church visitors! Don't forget to register with www.easyfundraising.org.uk and then make all your online purchases through their website to raise money for the loo fund, at no additional cost to you.

Sunday services
8:00am 2nd and 4th Sunday	Holy Communion Modern language, said service, 40 mins.
10:00am 1st and 4th Sunday	Morning Worship Modern language, mixture of hymns, refreshments after the service, Little Doves Sunday School, 60 mins
10:00am 2nd Sunday	Family Service Informal service specially welcoming families and children. We sing a mixture of hymns and modern worship songs accompanied by piano, guitar and percussion from the children and the Little Doves Sunday School. The style of the service is designed to make children and parents feel at ease whatever happens! 60 mins. Families enjoying this service might also like to visit TOAST and for older children. Young and old adults are invited to TECS (Team Evening Communion Service) which is held in one of the team parishes at 6pm on the second Sunday each month.
10:00am 3rd Sunday	Parish Communion Celebration of the Eucharist with modern language, mixture of hymns accompanied by organ. Little Doves Sunday School. 60 mins Refreshments after the service Fair Trade stall
5:00pm 1st Sunday	Evening Praise Traditional language and hymns, choral anthems, 60 mins.

The church is usually open on Thursday afternoons between 2.45 and 4.00pm. Everyone is welcome to come in and meet church members, enquirers and visitors informally over a cup of tea. Children can be free to explore the layout and the accoustics of the church with minimal supervision!
