St Andrew's White Colne St Andrew's Church at White Colne is very special as the building is small and the setting is tranquil in its rural farmland setting. The churchyard, with its ancient yews and gravestones is a lovely place to sit quietly on a warm day and enjoy the surroundings. To find St Andrew's take the Bures Road from the main A1124. The spire will come into view as you round some sharp bends on the road. White Colne is a very spread out village with the main housing and the green along the main Colchester - Halstead Road. The Colne river is the boundary betwen Earls Colne and White Colne. |
