Our faith is like the journey of the two friends on the road to Emmaus. We all need time to grow – time to reflect – time to experience. By journeying together we can talk and listen to one another.
We invite you to join us on a journey of faith. Starting in January 2010, Emmaus offers you an opportunity to explore and discover more about God. Each week there will be time to discuss and reflect together.
There are 17 weekly meetings. These are separated into three groups, with breaks in between to give you the opportunity to decide if you wish to continue.
You may decide to be baptised, confirmed or to renew your baptism promises – or you may just like to come and learn more about the Christian faith.

Each evening will allow time for discussion. Everyone can be involved at their own pace. You will need to bring along to the meetings a pen. You will also need to bring a Bible. If you do not have a modern translation of the Bible we can lend you one. If you need someone to baby sit for your children while you are at Emmaus, please let us know.
If you would like to come to our Emmaus course, it would be a great help if you could let Viv know in advance. But you can, of course, just turn up at The Lion and join in our first meeting.
