| Event Title |
Tea and Evensong at White Colne |
| Start Date |
Sunday 15/07/2007 |
| Description |
Everyone is warmly invited to St. Andrew's, White Colne, on Sunday July 15th for a picnic tea in the churchyard at 4.00 pm.
This will be followed by Evensong at 5.00 pm when Dr. Ronald Blythe, the well known author, Reader and Lay Canon of St. Edmondsbury Cathedral, will be coming to preach. His subject will be George Herbert, who was ordained in 1626 and is remembered for his poems and hymns.
We have a few benches for tea, but if you can bring your own folding chair it would be a help. If you are able to come – families and friends welcome! - please add your name(s) to the list at the back of your church to give us an idea of numbers or please get in touch.
